Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Me and my wife came up with an agreement, would that be considered uncontested ?

Can she show up to court for uncontested ?

Is there any way I can find assistance, to help me understand which forms I need, and what the forms are saying, besides an attorney, cuase I can't afford one ?

Nothing could be more dangerous or foolish in a divorce that to represent oneself and the costs later to fix what goes wrong (if you even can) will usually be far higher than hiring counsel now. You'll be surprised at how inexpensive the fees are if you both agree.

Forms are never a good idea even though a handful of courts offer them, and if you do not understand them then you definitely have to have a lawyer. (Lawyers do not use the forms. They use proper pleadings).

In most counties, if you have a lawyer, you may not even have a court appearance.

And yes, even if someone signs papers, they can contest the case.
