Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Wife was arrested for a misdemeanor. DFCS came and they gave my mother temp guardianship without contacting or informing me. We are unmarried but have 3 children and have been together for 10 years. What can I do? Can I just load them up in the car and take them home with us. DFCS found no drugs, abuse or neglect.
