Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My wife bought a car with her ex-husband he is the primary and by wife co-signed. They are legally divorced and my wife has made all payments on the vehicle and is in possession of the vehicle. The car loan does not show up on her credit report. What will happen if she drops the car off at her ex-husbands house and leaves it with him? We live in GA

That is a guess as to what would happen, and a really bad idea anyway. Unless the ex makes the payments the lender will eventually repossess it, and the lender will sue both of them, get a judgment and garnish accounts and wages. The debt (and judgment) can always show up on her credit report later. The only reasonable option is for her to contact her ex and 1) agree to sell and pay it off, or 2) one of them buys out the other in cash or refinance, with all paperwork properly signed. Until then, she keeps possession and continues to pay - but that does not resolve the title issue. You leave out an important detail - who is actually on the title.
