Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I need to know can a wife in a divorce settlement insist that her husband put her as the beneficiary? Or does he have the right to choose who will become the new beneficiary?

A beneficiary of what? (And the fact that you are asking this is very troubling as it tells us you are seeking things from your husband without a lawyer, and that always goes very badly).

You need to consult with an attorney. I assume you are referring to life insurance. Is it for you personally? Is it for a child? Whoever is named the beneficiary is the person who legally has the right to the money, not you. Again, get an attorney. There may be other things in the proposed agreement which need a review.
