Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My wife left me and my 2 boys 7 months ago, to move in with my best friend and RARELY sees the kids, calls, or helps with any medical bills? What are my rights, as far as custody of my kids? If she just comes and picks them up while I'm not there, does she have more rights, or legal custody at that point???

My boys are 13 and 9

Until and unless you file a divorce case, she can do anything she wants. This is a problem that will not begin to go away until you do the seven-month overdue step of retaining a lawyer.
