You say you care about your child and want a lawyer, but then say that you can't afford a lawyer and apparently are not paying support.
You need to (1) pay support, and (2) get a lawyer. Until you do those two things, things will not improve.
If you were legally married to your wife at the time your child was born, you have parental rights to your child. You also have parental obligations, which means paying child support. You may consider filing a petition for a custody order from the Court. The Court will hear your case and decide what's in the best interest of the child in terms of custody, visitation, child support, etc. If you want to play a part in your kid's life, sounds like you are going to have to fight for it.
Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not establish an attorney-client relationship.*******
