Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My wife lives in our house in Mississippi with our daughter. I am remarried and living in Georgia and just changed jobs. I can not afford the house payments anymore in Mississippi. What are my options, I`m thinking of doing a short sale. Will I still have to provide a place for her to live? Thank you

There is a question you did not ask that is huge. You say your WIFE lives in another state and you came here and remarried. You can't do that. Remarriage without a divorce is bigamy. That could land you in a prison and is a far more serious problem than the question you ask (short sales by the way often are a disaster and there are almost always far better options).
