Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
My wife and I are getting a no-fault divorce. Nothing contested. No children, pets, no common debts or assets, so spousal support or alimony agreed upon. I live in Georgia and she in California. I filed here in Georgia and had her served last week. She notified me she'd been served. She said the less she had to do the better, and wanted to know if she can just do nothing and the divorce go thru. If she doesn't sign anything, will I have anything extra I have to do? Will her not signing cause a delay?

You need her consent in the form of her Answer and consent to divorce and consent to proceed without her presence - Clerk should have copies of same or look on Fulton County Family Law's website
Good luck
