Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My wife is paying child support for two children that have been living with us since march of 2010, since she has been paying it we cant afford to live on our own and pay our rent. Is there anything we can do to get money back from the child support? We can not afford to get a lawyer right now or even pay our bills.

She must keep paying child support until she gets custody changed and gets the support order changed.

So she can continue not to get a lawyer and keep paying or she can get a lawyer and seek a change.
