Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My wife refuses to pay bills

I have been married for three years. I recently found out that another man has been contacting my wife by cell phone. I think she is having an affair. Since I confronted her she says that she is moving and refuses to pay any bills around the home. She wants a seperation, but this has been six months ago. What are my options because everything is in my name and I am falling behind.

Re: My wife refuses to pay bills

Your question isn't mostly a legal one. You have to decide if you want to stay under those conditions or go your separate ways.

If you choose the latter, then you would need a divorce lawyer.

Re: My wife refuses to pay bills

In order to protect your credit, you need to continue paying your bills. That is a separate issue from a potential divorce. If you wish to obtain a divorce, you would need to speak with a local attorney to explore your options.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.

If the debts are in your name, then you need to pay them to protect your credit. If you wish to end your relationship with your wife, you need to speak to an attorney regarding a divorce. Feel free to contact me if you wish.
