Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

He will not follow custody order nor help financially

We agreed upon joint custody as he stated he could not afford child support...I just wanted him to be a father to his child...he has never taken the baby for visits nor visited her nor tried to assist financially...what do I do?

Since you reference a an "order", whatever that order says will control. You should have it reviewed by a local attorney. It may well be possible to have him held in contempt.

You can file an action for change of custody and establish a child support obligation at the same time. Feel free to consult my office for further assistance on this issue.
