1. how can you find out if you were in someone's will? 2. is it possible to be in a will and not recieve anything? 3. do you have to be present or at least notified if you are in a will before it is read? 4. if you have been left something how do you go about getting it?

The starting point will be the probate court in which the deceased lived at the time of his/her death. If the deceased person's will has been filed for probate, you can find a lot of information.
1. Yes, the testator can leave you out of the will.
2. No, you do not have to be notified.
3. No, you do not have to be present.
4. You should consult with a local attorney about this.
