Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

If i have a withdrawal court order for deductions out of my payroll check does the court order have to read specifically per child per amount? My oldest daughter turned 18 on May 2009 but they are still deducting the same amt. out of my check. They told me that the order was not a per child order and that I would continue to pay for her until the youngest child turned 18. I have never heard of this clause and would not see any benefit why any order would be worded that way?

Very few orders in Georgia are worded per child. You have the order. Take a look at it and see what it says.
