Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Can a woman swear out a warrant for a man's arrest for not paying child support even though he is? The only problem is that the mail doesn't move fast enough for her and sometimes it has taken up to two weeks for her to receive her check even though it is mailed on the same day every week. Would authorities not actually check out whether or not he was paying before making an arrest?

Paying child support does NOT mean mailing it. It means making sure it is received.
When someone is claiming it isn't, they should be sending the check overnight by a means that shows proof of delivery (UPS, Fed Ex or Express Mail).
Keep all proofs of mailing, all proofs of signature, and the cashed checks for at least 25-30 years.
