wronful death of a child

I am the mother of a child who died of MRSA and bilateral pneumonia. She was in the care of her father and stepmother, there were neumerous problems with this relationship. While the child was under the care of the father and SM, she developed a bump, which they kept from me, she got very ill, the MRSA went systemic she got the bilteral pneumonia and died. Do you think I have a case for neglect and wronful death of the father and stepmother?
