Primary custodian change, joint legal custody.
My son (17yrs) wants to live with his father. I am the primary custodian in the divorce papers and we share joint legal custody. When this change takes place what should I do? anything. This is a okay with me because the schools where my son will be living are much better. But their is a coach from his previous school who is not happy with our change in location. Could he have any valid complaint since both parents agree with the move. He has stated that he will do anything to cause my son to atheletically inelegible. Do my ex and I have to make anything court documented since this only involves us and my son?

Re: Primary custodian change, joint legal custody.
Your divorce decree is a binding agreement that cannot be modified unless the court is involved; hence, you risk being held in contempt if you do not follow the decree. You should consult an attorney who will assist you with obtaining the change that you discussed.
