Legal Question in Medical Leave in Georgia
I have to take off work for my son who has to have surgery. I had to take off 2 weeks before his surgery due to the fact that he has a double ear infection and was running a fever. Had no one else to take care of him. Will I be covered under FMLA?

We don't know, since you did not provide all of the relevant facts. You can use google to find the requirements of FMLA, or speak with your HR rep.

Even if you are covered under the FMLA, there is nothing preventing your employer from violating federal law. Seek legal representation ASAP. Even if it is a brief consult. Be prepared to pay $.
