Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
3 weeks ago my husband and i approved for a car loan on a trade in car and 500.00
signed all paper work of approval from the lien holder. now it's about time for a payment, on September 3, 2009 recieved a call from a sale person from the dealer stating that our loan is not approved and we did not recieve in writing or verbally that this was a temporary contract that we would keep the car to see if we were approved
the contract we signed came directly from the lien holder it's a problem what should we do? a statement was made by the salesman that we should return the car we did not because we traded our old car and don't know what they have done to it by now

You meessed up badly as you do not buy a car the way you tried to.
You signed what is known as a conditional sales contract (read it) and one should never take possession of a car or turn in a trade until the lender ACCEPTS that contract.
(Actually you should never buy a car without getting preapproved by your bank. You simply get into trouble when you finance at dealers and they make a profit on it).
At this point, you owe for the car. Go to your bank and have them do a loan and bring the payment to the dealer.
