Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

My 17 year old son was arrested for a minor crime. The local newspaper published the arrest and gave his name and address.

Is this legal since he is a minor?

There is no law prohibiting that. 17 year olds are prosecuted as adults and face adult consequences for crimes.
