Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
I bought a car from a private seller in GA. When I flew home to OH to transfer the title and registration in my name, I discovered that the seller signed the title in the wrong place and I was unable to put the title in my name. The seller refuses to provide me with a valid title from the State of GA to assist me in starting the process all over again to obtain the title of ownership through the State of OH. It should be noted that the seller has received full pymt for the car. So, he has my money and ownership of the car. Can I sue the seller for the title and/or a refund AND for the pymt of my airline ticket? (I had to fly to OH because the seller never responded to any of my requests causing me to be "crunched for time" before my 30 day expiration to handle the transaction?

You probably can but you'll have to fly to Georgia to sue him.
While you can spend a lot of time and money suing, and you may win for the cost of the auto, you then have to collect (more time and money, and maybe little to no recover). As far as travel expenses, you can ask, but it was your decision to purchase a car from an out of state party and that was the risk you accepted.
