Since you haven't told us what other provisions you may have breached, we don't have enough facts to answer you. For example if you let insurance full coverage lapse (or if you failed to have your agent tell them you even had coverage) that could be one of many breaches.

Additionally, have you checked to make sure they RECEIVED payments. Simply sending them isn't payment.

If you kept the vehicle fully insured, made every payment ontime and did not violate any provision of your contract, see a lawyer as then you may have a good case.
