Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
My car was paid for to be repaired 2 months ago. i was charged $650.00 for what turned out to be a $59.00 part that has not been put in. The mechanic refuses to do the work or refund my money. in which time, while on his lot my car become damaged, rummaged through, my tires now flat, my battery dead, my tail light broken. the mechanic refused to sign a contract stating a completion date with my help offered freely. he mimicked me saying, "all you can do is take me to civil court, but that doesnt mean ill have to pay". I have reciepts of said payment along with witnesses of payment and his demeaning taunts. i have taken photos of said damages and would like to know my best course for recouping my losses. Thank you
