Since you didn't tell us what you have been sued for, there's no way to answer you. In some suits you could lose - eventually, your wages, your bank account, your home, your car, etc.

When you are sued you HAVE to see a lawyer. You may have defenses that will be waived by inaction, or even a way to bankrupt out of the problem. Time is VERY short. Treat this as emergency and see a lawyer TODAY.
