Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Hello - I contacted a car dealership online regarding a vehicle. I made my offer on the car via email - which included the stock # of the car and the price they had listed. They agreed to my offer. Once I arrived at the dealership they stated that they could not honor the price b/c they thought that it was on another vehicle. Do I have a case against them b/c the chain of emails was for another vehicle. It was not my fault they over looked the details of the email.

Let it go and move on. They tried to pull and bait and switch, or they are just incompetent.
Do you want to spend time and significant money with a legal action, or threat of legal action (that will go nowhere), or do you want to buy a car? If you don't trust them, why would you buy a car from them? There is always another deal for another car.
You probably have no legal case, and you would not want to do business with such a shady dealer anyway. Just to get them in trouble, make a complaint to the state office of consumer affairs and the BBB, but shop for your car elsewhere and let it go.
