Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Counter Suit

I would like to know if I may counter suit the following?

Cousin filed a law suit for $1000.00 money owed, plus interest & suffering. I originally borrowed $4000.00, paid back $3000.00 & he sued without notifying me he was going to. The worst part about all of this is that I borrowed the money for my brother! We went to Court & the Judge ruled in partially in his favor (I never denied the original allegation, I was only requesting additional time.

My question is this. I would like to counter suit for him being an Illegal Immigrant and for Driving without a License and to drop the Judgement against me (for the pain and suffering he has caused our family). When he arrived in this country, he stayed with us for a long period of time, used our vehicle (with an appropriate license at that time), rented from us (a rental property with roomates). The roomates left and I could not get anyone else while he was there because he was very unsanitary...hence he almost made us foreclose on our property. Anyway, he certainly took advantage of the situation and this is how he's repaying. I've never asked him for a penny of what our losses have been, however I'm tired and I would like pursue a counter suit. Any thoughts?

Re: Counter Suit

If the judge has already ruled and a judgment has been entered, it is probably too late. Consult with a local attorney to review the case.
