Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Creditor planning to sue
I have worked out re-payment plans with all of my creditors but one tells me they will sue for the entire amount. I do not have the money and can not get it but will make monthly paymnets to pay off the debt.
One creditor says the only recourse is full paymnet by the 30th. What can they do to me and what can I do to protect myself?
thank you,

There is nothing - except bankruptcy - that can stop a lawsuit. If a creditor refuses to work with you, you should immediately consult with a bankruptcy lawyer as your assets and income may be at risk.
