Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Defamation-Libel

My last employer signed a Separation Notice for me to take to the unemployment office to receive umemployment for lack of work. This was in lieu of me turning in a letter or resignation with many unpleasant issues in it (ie. sexual harrasment, damage to personal property, filthy working conditions, lude acts in the office, etc) and I agreed to stay and train my replacement.

I preceded to file for unemployment and look for a new job. Then I receive in the mail a copy of a letter sent to the unemployment office by this company stating that this company was appealing my claim and that I FORGED this document! This letter was signed by a secretary that works there but not by the persons name on this letter. The letter states twice that this was a forged document. Why she composed this letter and signed his name we do not know. This is a lie and the mans name on the letter said he would write another letter or anything he had to do to say this was not a forged document. Should or could I sue for libel and defamation of character? And do I sue just the company or all parties involved?
