Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Extortion

Being sued by a lawyer for services never rendered, agreed to or contracted for. Paid another lawyer to settle the case, but now find out the 2 lawyers are friends. They are trying to negotiate a lesser settlement from me, which I perceive to be extortion. I have no more funds to fight this case. Please help.

Lawyers who are friends or acquintances are on opposite sides of cases every day. Notjing inherently wrong with it. You need to discuss any problems with your lawyer. It is not something that can be resolved in this forum.
