Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Haven't been able to find a lawyer to take my small case. Trying to file in small claims.
I'm filing a suit for diminished value in Georgia. It's my understanding that I need to file against the other driver and the insurance company would be an unnamed defendant.
How do I file a statement of claim with a named and unnamed defendant?

For purposes of my answer I am assuming you were not injured (if you were, get a lawyer). The reason you can't find an attorney is that the attorneys are looking out for you. You'd spend far more than you will recover if you pay a lawyer. You sue the other driver. And you do NOT name the insurer in the complaint. But do send a copy of the filed complaint to the claims adjuster by certified mail.
