Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Garnishment
I won my suit against someone and sent in the garnishment papers. He has since filed a Traverse and the hearing is tomorrow. I have plenty of evidence to get past the Traverse hearing but what is next? Can he keep fighting this and keep wasting my time and money fighting him in court over this?

Re: Garnishment
Technically, he could appeal tomorrow's decision. However, if, as you say, you have the evidence, you will probably win and the garnishee must pay the money into court unless the judge orders the debtor to post some type of bond.
