Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

My girlfriend had a roomate that she asked to move out of her home back in december of 2010. My question is this; she asked him repeatedly to get his belongings out of her house, asked his girlfriend to get them, and told his parents to get the stuff. He never has came to get it and she wants to know how long, legally, she has to wait before she can get rid of the stuff?
