Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Golf Membership Fraud & collection

We joined a golf club & soon found it was fraudulent & they did not even own any golf courses as promised. They filed bankruptcy & closed their facilities where we were supposed to have lifetime access to practice machines & insruction. We just received a letter from an attorney trying to collect our membership fees. We were refunded our initial investment after ivestigation by our credit card company. Do we need an attorney to fight this & suffer the time & money loss even though we received nothing we were promised. This is as short as I can state the issue.

Consult with a local attorney. Bankruptcy usually "stays" all legal proceedings. Your rights need to be more fully examinded than can be done in this type of forum.

Your issue no doubt involves contracts and documents, so you'll need to see a lawyer who can review them, perhaps the Bankruptcy case, etc.
