Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Hello,

I am trying to get some money back that was wrongfully taken out of my bank account(fraud). I have disputed the charges with my bank to no avail. Then I disputed the charges with the company. Now, the company wants to pay back the monies but can't because I had to close that account because there was another fraud payment taken from it. I have no idea where to go or how to go about getting this money back because the company now says that they can only do a reversal to the original account by the original means. Since the account is no longer open, there seems to be no way for me to get my money back. I am nervous about getting an attorney because it may cost me more to get the money back than what was taken. Could someone please advise me on the next best step to take?

The company that has your money is disreputable and has lied to you. They don't"have" to credit your account. They can mail you a check. They are jerking your chain. Give them 24 hours to mail a check. Then, if they don't pay, sue them in Magistrates Court. (If the amount is under $15,000 you can do that yourself as a small claim).
