Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Homeowner
I what would like to know what are my rights as a homeowner (first-time buyer), if there is a belief that the previous sellers were dishonest in the seller's disclosure. What can happen if the termite letter that was received after the closing was put on hold, is believed to be fradulent? Can I hold the sellers' agent liable if there is reasonable doubt that he knew of the problems and covered them up. Ultimately, I signed on the home on 05/20/05 and scheduled to move in on 06/04/05. Three days before moving in part of the ceiling from the master bedroom collapse from water coming in. The water spread to the adjacent room. Its believed that the sellers knew of the issue and did not disclose in the sellers disclosure. Its also belived that they lied about the age of the roof. From 06/01/05 to the present I am in a house that is not completely functioning. I have no air conditioner etc... What like to know what my rights are and if i have a case that could win

Re: Homeowner
You may definitely have a case. However, all of the facts need to be examined. You should consult with a local attorney.
