Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
I own a house in GA that I rent. The renter has paid on time since last March. The electric is in my name and is due on or before the 1st of every month. I pay the electric bill then it is paid with the rent. Can I legally have the electric to that house turned off since he hasn't paid me for it?

No. Regardless of non-payment, a landlord may not turn off electricity or heat during cold months.
