Loan to my brother

''I loaned my brother $5K in 2006 and even though we made out a notarized promissory note for the loan to be paid back 2007 he has yet to pay me back. What can I do?

If you can't work it out with your brother, either have an attorney send a demand letter for repayment and then sue if he doesn't pay, or just go ahead and sue for repayment.
