Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
A mechanic did damage to my car forcing me to look elsewhere for a remedy to the problem. The cost for proper repair will be about 800 dollars. The initial mechanic wants to settle without going to court. Is a hand written contract valid in the state of Georgia?

Assuming it otherwise qualifies as a valid agreement, yes. Except for a few exceptions, even verbal agreements are enforceable.
