Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
A mechanic work on my car for two months to repair my transmission however after I picked up my truck and returned home i notice burns on my seat. I have witnessed that my seat was never burned from the last people inside my truck. but i still feel my case is weak because the mechanic is a friend of the judge

...Lawsuits are assigned to Judges randomly. Did you already file a lawsuit? You did? Great!

Anytime I see the line "he's a good friend of the judge" I know the person who tells me that is probably feeding me BS about the case. (1) Judges are randomly assigned. (2) If there is a close relationship between the assigned judge and the party, that is never a problem because either the judge will disclose it and recuse himself or you would file a recusal motion and get another judge.
So what is the actual concern you have since the you'll get a different judge?
