Medical Bill Dispute
My stepson had an automobile accident and was a minor at the time. The hospital took it upon themselves to go through his wallet and use whatever insurance card he had without an adult present. They are billing me for this and it should have been to his mom's insurance. Am I liable for this? He lives with his mother and she had insurance on him at the time.

This should be able to be straightened out by comparing the policies to see which company is responsible. Consult with a local attorney.
