motion to compel?
I recently went through a child support modification and agreed to pay the new amount. The money was taking out through Child support Enforcement. Now the Plantiff is claiming contempt of court because of erros which I have proven from the Child support. Her attorney after recveing my explanation letter. Removed the court date from the calender. I just recieved a threating letter from her attorney. Stating they have filed a motion to compel because I did not provide requested documents. i.e w2's etc.(which I did not send because I had proven I had in fact paid.) Now her attorney has filed a motion to compel for discovery. He is also claiming that I need to come to his office and give a deposition. That his client has every right to get one from me. Do I go to the deposition? What is motion to compel?

A motion to compel is a request that the court compel you to do something. You need a lawyer. We can't guide you through a lawsuit.
