Neighbor hired a contractor that cut 130 of my trees (5 acres)

My neighboring property owner hired sold his timber rights to his land to a sawmill owner who in turn hired a contractor which someone apparently pulled the wrong plat at the courthouse and went through my entire property taking 130 mature hardwoods. What are my options other then the timber value which is less than #3,000.00?

Your option is seek the financial damages you suffered. Preferably, that is by negotiation and not filing a lawsuit.
