Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I owe suntrust bank on a promissary note and I missed 2 mths now they are going to sue.....what offer should I make to avoid a lawsuit. I owe $2,200. Do they have to work out another deal with me?

You owe $2,200 for the 2 months missed? Or do you owe $2,200 on the entire promissory note? Did they accelerate the debt?

They don't have to accept any deal. You certainly can make a proposal, and make sure any deal is in writing.
