Possession of Boat

Boat sank at dock - dock damaged. Can owner of Marine take possession of boat without getting judgement or filing lien against boat. No liability was ever established.

Probably not, but it may depend on the language of the rental agreement with the marina. Check the language carefully and ask them why they think they have the right to take your boat.

If the marina owner hasn't taken possession, I would get the boat moved ASAP. If he has, I would consider a suit for conversion of personal property. Consult a local attorney.
