Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I purchased a vehicle. It is currently registered and titled in my name. Now the previous owners came with the police and a court order to my home stating I must return the vehicle because it should not have been sold in the first place. What legal recourse do I have?

It sounds like you may have possibly purchased either a stolen card or a car which could not be sold. Since none of us have seen the court order, there is no way to guess at an answer here. On Monday, meet with a lawyer to review your paperwork and the order and get advice. There is no way to answer this online.

Recourse for what? No terms of the contract, or circumstances under which you bought it. Not a word about what the court order says, or what you were told by the seller, police or anyone else (certainly, you know more than you told us). I am not sure how you expect any kind of response that will help you with only a small part of the story.

You need to consult with an attorney who can get to the bottom of this.
