Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
I recently took my truck in to be repaired. The shop told me that they could not fix it and that they had taken my truck to another shop with out my consent and without letting me know. And I now have a bill at the other shop. Am I or the first shop on the hook for the bill.

It would be helpful to know whether the truck was repaired for a reasonable cost. If so, pay the bill and end the matter and find a new shop in the future. If the first shop was on the hook, they would just bill you for it, and the second one will likely not release your vehicle without payment. This does not mean you don't have a complaint, but to what end?
