resignation
The Pastor of our church resigned on 10/12 (effective in 3 days), the Head Deacon quit on the same night. On 10/19 the other Deacons call an ''immediate special needs''meeting to accept his resignation. Now he wants to rescind it. There is nothing in our bylaws to cover dealing with his resignation, so some of our members are saying that it was done improperly and are demanding a new vote. Are they right? There is no time frame outlined in the bylaws for ISN meetings but GA code 14 says 7 days notice. Can his resignation be rescinded after all this time (almost 4 weeks), or is now a question of reinstatement?

Same response as the last time you asked - see a lawyer to make sure your documents are in order. Otherwise, no one here can tell you whether or not to reach an agreement with the pastor or what that agreement might be. That is mostly a business decision you have to make. Ask the lawyer you contact.

It is really more of a business decision than a legal one whether to accept the resignation or not. However, you want to make sure that you follow all of your corporate rules and regulations where applicable.
