Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Hello.

Around the Spring Of 2009 I purchased an extended automobile warranty for my car. Several months later a problem with the car's "check engine" light appeared. I took my car to a repair shop but the claim was denied by AA Auto Warranty/ Consumer Direct Warranty Service because they say the part could be cleaned instead of repaired.

Back then I was able to fax the claim form and then speak with someone in person. I did not press the issue at the time. Now just about two years later I have been trying to get in touch with someone at the company and they flat out refuse to speak with me. They have email addresses for correspondence and a web site to file a claim. However, their phone system is set up to where it only gives you information about the web site and email addresses.

I was in correspondence with someone by email and asked them pointed questions such as What If I were in an emergency, how can I speak with someone in person....How can the repair person talk with someone for a question and answer session to discuss the repair job? This person would not answer any direct questions and refused to call me or allow me to call him.

Back in the Spring of 2009 I paid about $ 1300 cash for this car repair warranty. They have my money now refuse to talk to me in person even about something minor. Right now I do not have any car problems. But with the way I am being treated I want to do something right now to get my money back so that when I do get into a situation where my car needs urgent repairs I will not have to deal with this company at all.

If you are not the proper agency to handle this complaint I would like to be pointed in the direction to the most appropriate person or agency to resolve the complaint....

My Thanks, HM Garnett.

This is not an "agency" to handle your problem - this is general information website. As far as te issue, obviously you don't have a warranty issue. You are just pressing them because because you think you might have a problem later. Read your contract. Does it require them to give you personal service and answer all your questions personally, even though you have no real problem? That would be unusual. You are simply making up the problem. That won't get you your money back.
