what state do i sue my ex in

it was put in my divorce that my ex was responcible for the dollar amout of all the bad checks that she wrote to our bank account. i work for the goverment, and one of the companys that she wrote the bad checks to ended up garnishing my pay check for the bad check that she wrote. i want to sue my ex fro the money that was taken from my paycheck. we live in seperate states so what state do i sue her in?

If you were divorced in GA, file a Motion for Contempt in the court that issued your divorce, since her failure to abide by your divorce settlement is in contempt of the Order issued by the divorce. It would be helpful to hire an attorney to do that for you.
