Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

The superior court of Bibb county order that my mechanic return my car then i will pay 1200 dollars. I found out that the car was auctioned out since the mechanic had left the car at some parking lot and the twoing company pick up the car and later auctioned the car. I tried to find out from the court my next option they would not tell me. What i need to do to make this mechanic pay for my car? Also, i am thinking to sue the towing company since they did not make honest effort to find me the orginal owner before they auctioned the car.

What was the car's value worth? You can sue the towing company for the value of the car if they did not follow correct procedures. You also can sue the mechanic for the value of the car BUT since you owe $1200 for the work that was done, this will have to be deducted from any recovery. I suggest that you get a lawyer to assist you.
