I am a teacher. I was knocked to the ground by a student. Can I sue the parent?

See a lawyer, if you want to take it that far. You decided to tell us no facts at all - not even whether the act was intentional, or what damages you suffered. Presumably, the administration knows all about the situation and should know of your desire to sue.
